Bullethawk Racing, the Formula SAE team of NSIT is a group of hard working inter-disciplinary students determined to apply their technical knowledge to face real-life challenges. The team derives its name from the word “Bullet hawk” which refers to the fastest animal on earth - Peregrine Falcon. The bird, which rockets at bullet-like speeds, symbolizes the team’s urge to race ahead of others.
The team is currently aiming to participate in the Formula SAEINDIA Design Challenge 2009 to be held at Chennai in December this year. We are determined and working with full dedication to leave a mark at the competition in our very first attempt. (Refer to the FSAE page for more details on the competition).
Subsequently, the team will be taking part in FSAE competitions abroad and will be keen to establish the presence of NSIT in the international student formula-racing scenario and put India on the global map.
Bullethawk racing is a diverse team of talented engineering students from different branches honing their skills in their specialized areas of interest, such as engine, chassis, suspension, electronic controls or body and its aerodynamics.
